JULIE OKAMURA – PRINCIPAL
Is the founder of pop design group inc since 2004 with 30 years interior design experience and having her NCIDQ designation. Prior to starting her own company, Julie worked for a large architectural firm in Calgary as their senior interior designer for several years. Julie has led her talented team on a multitude of projects across Western Canada, Western USA and Central America. A passionate leader, Julie is directly involved with her clients, ensuring their projects are streamlined, stunning and on budget. Her vast knowledge and creativity has been noticed on many projects including hospitality, restaurants, corporate and medical offices, recreational projects, multi-family projects, residential and seniors housing. She believes each project should be unique and is dedicated to turn each Client’s dream into a reality. Julie is extremely creative with her designs and space planning and works hard to keep projects on budget.
GORD HILL – CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Gord has been working in the interior design field for over 23 years with an additional background in fashion and furniture design. He has worked with pop design group for 19 years and has been our creative director and project coordinator on many multi-million dollar projects from restaurant and hospitality, seniors’ facilities, residential and multi-family projects as well as corporate office and recreational projects. Gord has a unique eye for colour and design and is extremely detail orientated. He will ensure your project is completed on time and on budget with a unique level of creativity.
RON BUTARAN – SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER
Ron was a licensed architect and interior designer in the Philippines. He has over 14 years of experience in both architecture and interior design. We were fortunate to have Ron join our team several years ago. His love for design shows in every project he works on as he takes pride in his drawings and details as well as finishes and furniture design. Ron is extremely creative and easily portrays the design intent with beautiful 3D renderings. He is also extremely proficient in AutoCAD and REVIT for both commercial and residential projects. Ron has been an incredible asset to pop design group for the past 5 years.
MOSELLE ALPAJARO – INTERIOR DESIGNER
Moselle has been an essential addition to our team! Her knowledge of finishes and materials are excellent, and her 3D renderings and presentations are stunning! Moselle is very detailed orientated and efficient. She works in both REVIT and AutoCAD.
