Please forgive the tardiness of this note, but I still wanted to write and say on May 15th, 2013 as you are aware, another great milestone was reached in the development of the entire Keynote Project. The second residential tower was completed concluding a project that took 10 years to realize from planning, to construction to tenant occupation, which was completed by November of last year.
This project would not have been possible without the dedication, perseverance and hard work of individuals like you and your entire team, and for all of your effort I would like to say a most sincere thank you and congratulations on a job well done.
We hope to be able to work with you again in the future, but until then, we wish you good luck with all of your future activities, take care, safe travels and all the best.

Balboa recognized your significant contribution to the success of Residential Tower Two…

Dear Gord,
A celebration was held on January 21, 2014 to commemorate the successful completion and turnover of the second residential tower of the Keynote Urban Village, and to acknowledge the efforts of the many that made it happen.
Almost 9 years ago, Balboa began with a creative vision for a transformative development in a long neglected community and engaged a team of strategic partners to bring it to fruition. Although delayed by global financial crisis and catastrophic flood, Keynote Residential Two will forever symbolize the integrity, creativity and decisiveness of the team who overcame these obstacles to complete the original vision for the Keynote Urban Village.
Teamwork is one of Balboa’s core values, and we are proud of the tradition of recognizing the many individuals whose efforts combine to bring vision into reality. The plaque recognizing the efforts of the now 1,500 men and women who essential skills combined to complete the original vision of Keynote Urban Village will hang proudly in the lobby of Keynote Office 1.
Each of us should be proud to have contributed to the 250 quality condos in Keynote Residential Two and the many people who call it home. Of course, the vision for Keynote Urban Village has been broadened to include a second office tower, and so the transformation of the Victoria Park community will continue.

“Julie and Gord were utilized to draw up the scope of work and provide design selections when I had to renovate my kitchen due to a prior unsafe and poorly executed renovation after a house flood, conducted by my Insurance company’s Restoration vendor. 
They inspired confidence with their diligent and detailed approach to the job and were able to find numerous ways to save me money through their industry contacts.  I believe they saved me thousands of dollars in the electrical piece, and their selection for the backsplash of mosaic marble tile was stunning. They were also able to find a larger sink to be retrofitted into the expensive Caesarstone, again saving me thousands of dollars, avoiding having to replace the quartz. 
I finally have the warm and functional kitchen that I desired, due to their innovative way of using what was working for the kitchen and adding their impeccable eye to bring in features to warm the space by adding their designer touch. 
Aside from the improved esthetics, they gave me a kitchen space that I love, and that is also far more functional!  I would unequivocally recommend Pop Design Group as a trustworthy, detail-oriented Design Group.

“We had decided to completely gut and remodel our condo.  After multiple fruitless and frustrating efforts to find a designer who could translate our aspirations, hopes, ideas, needs, constraints and challenges into a cohesive and workable vision, we discovered Julie!  If only we had met her sooner! We immediately felt heard AND understood.  Our initial designers seemed focused on getting us to do something they wanted to do; Julie was focused on figuring out how she could help us do what we were hoping to do.  That created a lot of trust.  In addition, Julie was GREAT at asking excellent questions . . . what if? have you considered? what would you think about doing something like this? But the questions were never about imposing her ideas or her vision.  They were always aimed at helping us imagine options, clarify our wants and needs and find ideas.  Those questions helped us have epiphanies; those questions helped us see possibilities we hadn’t imagined; those questions helped us discover ways to achieve our aspirations for our home that we wouldn’t have discovered on our own. 

The result was a condo that had a core layout and structure that embodied our deepest preferences while also having flooring, colors, style, shades, hardware and other matters that we owe to Julie’s expert counsel and guidance and her commitment to understanding us.  We couldn’t have been more pleased with Julie and would hire her without hesitation if we were to buy and remodel another home. We also want to stress that it’s not just our opinion!  Our building engineer pulled us aside multiple times to say how great she was to work with and expressed his wish that other designers could be that easy to work with; the manager of the shop where we bought the stone for our countertops told us we were really fortunate to have such a wonderful designer; contractors on the job, like the folks that built and installed the cabinetry and the folks who installed the flooring, also stressed how much they liked working with Julie.   It’s so important to have a designer who can effectively work with all the people who impact the scope and pace of your remodel.   Julie was clearly stellar in their eyes.  That made things go so much more smoothly.
