Elk + Avenue Hotel

Banff, Alberta
7800 sq.ft excluding corridors and guest room areas.
This hotel was undergoing a brand change in the town of Banff. Modernizing the hotel was paramount, while keeping the atmosphere of the mountains that the clientele is there to experience. Moving forward with the “Mountain Modern” theme required complete renovations to the lobby, lounge, seating areas and break out enclaves to facilitate the changing needs of the modern tourist. The Mid-century influence achieved this with the use of natural woods and rugged local stone with the added flair of some sophisticated elements and a little glamour
